18 Syrian illegal migrants caught in southern resort town

– In southern resort province of Antalya, 18 Syrian illegal migrants and six Turkish citizens were caught after the operation of the coast guard crews, in Kemer district.

The migrants were found in a yacht called "Nanna" that was stopped one mile off the coast, carrying a group of 18 illegal migrants including six children, four women, along with six citizens of Turkey including a woman, a child, and the yacht captain.

The yacht was egded in under the control of the coast guard of Kemer and the illegal migrants caught were turned over to the district police department, while the yacht captain H.H. and Turkey citizens H.A., S.Y. and H.Y. were detained on allegations of carrying illegal Syrian migrants overseas from Turkey.
